Adoring Erica Durance will be on a hiatus starting this Thursday and ending in March/April next year. I’m travelling to Australia and will be staying there for about six months. During this time, I won’t have time to update the site. So until Thursday, you can expect huge updates in the gallery, like the ninth season of Smallville, additions to the public appearances section, and more. So stay tuned, and please keep visiting the site even if updates will be rare!
A new behind the scenes video from Erica’s photoshoot for Chloe Magazine has surfaced, and I added captures from it to the gallery. You can also watch it below.
Finally a new layout, using the stunning photos from the photoshoot I added earlier today. I really hope you like it and that it looks good. If something looks off, please let me know!
Two new photosessions have been added to the gallery and additions to an old one.
Sorry about the really crappy updating for the past months, I lost motivation to work on the site for a while. But I’m working on adding the last of the Saving Hope captures, which will be done very soon. I hope to also finish Smallville soon. I recently added the last captures from season 8 and has started to work on season 9. Enjoy them!

Most people don’t get excited about a double hand amputation, but actresses Erica Durance (who plays Dr. Alex Reid) and Wendy Crewson (who plays Dr. Dana Kinney) both say this surgery has been their favourite once so far.
“The double hand replantation was fantastic!” says Crewson. “They were hands that were amputated by a blade in a chicken processing plant and we have to reattach these hands. It was a huge surgery!”
Two bloody stumps wrapped in gauze bandages arrive at Hope-Zion with two hands in a pail of ice the patient brought in from Thunder Bay.
“What I love about the medical scenarios is that we get a specialized doctor to come in and consult on it,” says Durance. “That whole process was really fascinating!”
And both Durance and Crewson have nothing but the highest praise for the severed hands themselves.
“Even the consulting doctors agree, the prosthetics team make things that are so lifelike,” gushes Durance.
“They’ve got beating hearts and organs. It’s a bit of a biology lesson for me, which was my favourite science in high school.”
“The hands looked incredible, right down to the hairs on the wrists and on the knuckle area, dirt under the nails,” says Crewson.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I’ve been out of town for the past weeks and haven’t been able to update at all. But now I managed to catch up with the Saving Hope captures, at least. Captures from all five episodes that has aired are now up in the gallery!

Made some new additions to the events Erica attended in 2007 and 2008. Some old ones have also been replaced with HQ’s.
This Thursday, Erica made an appearance on The Marilyn Denis Show to promote Saving Hope. She looked beautiful in a white dress and white heels, very elegant as always. You can watch the interview below, and I also added captures from it.
